Dining at Tasca El Pescador Seafood Restaurant in San Juan

📍Tasca El Pescador Seafood Restaurant 🧡My wife and I were walking around San Juan around 8 p.m. looking for a place to eat. The bright storefront looked so inviting that we went in. 🥣 The interior is small but cozy. Most of the diners (including a large party of 10) were speaking Spanish, and it’s always nice to hear the locals in a restaurant. 🍵The fish was displayed on ice, so you could see what would be served. When we’re at a new, unfamiliar restaurant, we ask the server for recommendations, and that’s what we did. 🥨We ordered grilled octopus (delicious) as an appetizer, and then the fish arrived. The food was excellent, and outdoor dining is also available. 🍺Tasca El Pescador is located in the waterfront area of San Juan and is a family-run restaurant. We visited in the evening and chose the outdoor seating area. ✨The mofongo is made using traditional methods, with a smooth plantain mash.
