DMV Coffee Exploration|Creative Coffee Omakase from Seoul ☕
The café’s name is gute Leute—which means “good people” in German! It’s located in Arlington. Finding street parking can be a bit of a luck game 🍀, but there’s also an underground garage nearby that costs $4 per hour. I often come here on weekends with my laptop when I don’t have specific plans. The place is quite popular—it’s often full, so sometimes you need to wait a bit for a seat. If you want to try the coffee omakase experience, be sure to make a reservation in advance on Open Table! 📅 I’ve visited twice and tried different omakase menus. They offer two levels: if it’s your first time, the Signature Omakase is a great choice—$23 per person, which includes 4 drinks. Before the drinks are served, you also get to taste an Italian espresso. Out of the four drinks, Pine Cone and Gute Leute are fixed, and the others can be chosen yourself. I highly recommend Oh-A—it has a unique texture and a fun tasting experience! For the last drink, both Lychee Punch and Peachiscus are nice, but I prefer Peachiscus a bit more—the lychee one is a little too sweet for me. 🍑 Which flavor profile do you usually go for—fruity, floral, or nutty? If you want to try more varieties, you can also go for the Special Omakase. Some drinks not on the regular menu are quite delicious! Though be careful—after too many coffee drinks, especially the sweeter ones, your stomach might feel a bit unsettled. 😅 Overall, it’s definitely worth experiencing! The staff here are super friendly and patient—they really make you feel welcome. 💗 Have you ever tried a coffee omakase?
