Doha Dining Guide | Must-Try Restaurants in Qatar 🇶🇦

After spending half a month in Doha, I noticed there's plenty about attractions but little about food. Here are my top picks (taste is subjective, but these stood out!): 1️⃣ Hanok Restaurant The best Korean food in Doha! Located right outside the National Museum. 🍜 Must-order: Cold noodles (perfect for Doha’s heat) Authentic Korean fried chicken 👩🍳 Run by a Korean chef—cozy, clean, and delicious. Bonus: There’s a pricier Korean spot called "Dobu"—next on my list! 2️⃣ Parisa Souq Waqif 📍 Souq Waqif (Instagram-worthy mirror-covered Persian palace!) 🔥 Why go? Book ahead! (We reserved a day early and still waited.) Best for kebabs—locals and tourists both love it. Upstairs seating = best ambiance. ⏰ Hours: Lunch (1-4 PM) / Dinner (6-11 PM) 3️⃣ The Chedi Katara – Afternoon Tea ☕ Luxury alert! If you can’t stay at this 5-star resort, at least visit for high tea. 🌊 Views: Private beach + Arabian Gulf + Mughal-Ottoman architecture. 🍰 Tea set: 395 QAR for two (pastries match the hotel’s aesthetic). 📸 Photo op: Unreal beauty. 4️⃣ Kamachi Restaurant 📍 Katara Cultural Village (right by the mosque) 🍛 Why it’s famous: Always packed (put your name down early!). Unexpectedly amazing—don’t underestimate the "curry and bread" combo. 🍖 Must-try: Tender meat stews + ultra-soft naan. 5️⃣ Chabrat Al Mina Restaurant 📍 Mina District (seafood hotspot) 🐟 High-end but worth it? 300 RMB/person—better for a splurge. Alternative: Visit the Blue Mosaic Fish Market next door for fresh seafood. 6️⃣ EL&N Café (Pink Café) 💖 Doha’s most Instagrammable café (everything’s pink!). ☕ Pricey but pretty—great for photos, not so much for budget dining. 📍 Opposite M7 Museum (only one real location despite what maps say). 7️⃣ Bamboo Asian Restaurant 🥢 The only Chinese spot I liked in Doha! 🍺 Fully authentic—Chinese-owned, Chinese chefs, even Chinese liquor. 💰 Great value compared to other Asian restaurants. Final Thoughts Doha’s food scene is underrated—whether you want Persian feasts, Korean comfort food, or luxury high tea, there’s something for every taste (and budget). #DohaEats #QatarFoodie #TravelAndEat
