During our visit to Doha, my wife, friend, and I had the pleasure of dining at Parisa Persian Restaurant, located in the heart of Souq Waqif. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that this restaurant is extraordinary. The atmosphere exudes luxury and elegance, with stunning interiors that transport you into the heart of Persian culture. The intricate mirror work and vibrant mosaics make the place feel truly special—it reminded me of the grand palaces in Jaipur, with their regal charm.
The ambiance is refined yet welcoming, creating an ideal setting for a memorable dinner. The staff were exceptionally friendly, always ready with a smile and attentive to our needs. The place is also very pristine, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and elegance throughout.
Now, let's talk about the food. It was nothing short of spectacular. We ordered the Parisa Souq Platter and Ferreni, and every dish was absolutely delectable. The portions were plentiful—each dish was more than enough for two people, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The Parisa Souq Platter offered a wonderful variety of grilled meats, fresh herbs, and flavorful dips, while the Ferreni was a creamy, fragrant dessert that left us craving more. The food menu at Damasca One is vast and offers a great variety of both meat and vegetarian options One thing I would recommend is to book ahead of time, as this restaurant can get quite busy, especially during peak hours. If you don’t, you may end up waiting quite a while for a table.
Though the restaurant is on the pricier side, the experience is worth every penny. The ambiance, food, and service make it a standout in Souq Waqif, and it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for a more refined dining experience. Our friends from the Philippines also fell in love with the place, and we all agreed that it’s a must-visit spot in Doha.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a luxurious and memorable meal in a...

I just submitted Google map location corrections using GPS location tags (as the street addresses in Souq are no good). That should make it easier to gong using Google Maps.
You know that you are in for a treat as you look at the entrance as your eyes are filled with beautiful sights. The journey continues through the long hallway, where you see other patrons pausing to take in the beautiful paintings and decorations, taking selfies, etc. The whole time your sense of smell is being intrigued by smell of meat and spices being grilled, awakening your taste buds. Your taste buds, eyes and nose keep beckoning you to go in further on a journey of exploration. You and they are in for a treat.
The ambiance is amazing. The decorations are beautiful. The service is prompt but not over bearing.
The Borani Bademjan eggplant dip was delicious and went well with their home made bread (freshly hand made in the tanour in the corner, each time). Kabob Tikke Masti (marinated beef tenderloin) and the Kabob Koobideh (ground lamb) were made to perfection and, along with the saffron rice, were the best this Persian has ever had!
The Ferreni (Persian rice flour desert) and the Paloodeh (Persian rice noodle desert) with Akbar-Mashti (Persian version of) ice cream (Faloude Bastani on the menu) were individually amazing and together awesome.
We were concerned that the restaurant might not live up to the hype but happily it does :)
We met the owner who was very nice and personable.
We hope to be back tomorrow night for More Persian Food. What a special (and tasty) treat. Note they have a fix price multi-course menu and an...
Read moreThe restaurant is located in Souq Waqif. I have been to Iran and walking inside is like being in ancient Persia. Elegant, stunning decor. You don't need to dress up. Most guests were tourists who were mainly in casual clothes. The restaurant isn't huge and there aren't that many tables so even though it was busy, it wasn't noisy and it had a nice atmosphere. Very clean. Food, Persian! You do need to make a booking. I booked in advance. They give complimentary bread and a dip to start. I just ordered a main as one person and I could see portions were huge! I went with the chelo jooje kebab and to drink the saffron and rose mocktail. The mocktail was very refreshing and not too sweet. Light and went well with the meal. The food was lovely. Very well presented and freshly made. The chicken was perfect along with the rice and side garnish. Underneath the chicken was a strip of bread which was soft and melted in your mouth. I enjoyed it but couldn't finish it. Too much. I got through most of the chicken but struggled with the rice. It was very nice though. Iranian food portion sizes are normally very generous. I suggest if you are with others to order a variety of dishes and share. Price was pretty reasonable for this type of restaurant and the amount of food you get! The difference for me between a 4 and a 5 is that the service of the waiters was good. Polite, friendly and attentive. However, I found the lady at reception and the other lady who took the guests to their table very cold and snobbish. They needed to be way friendlier. ...
