Eager for Christmas? Let’s Go!
🎄 Thanksgiving hasn’t even arrived yet, but Christmas events are already in full swing — holiday light displays are popping up all over the city! 🎅🏻 This week we visited a nearby event called Classic Christmas. Last year it was downtown, but this year it moved to Katy Mills — super convenient for families living in Katy! 🌟 Event Highlights: 1️⃣ Immersive & Compact Christmas Village The venue isn’t huge, but that’s actually a plus — it’s densely packed with festive scenes! 🎑 Every few steps there’s a new setup, which is perfect for little ones who don’t like long walks. You can fully enjoy it in just 1–2 hours. 2️⃣ Plenty of Activities for Young Kids It’s not just for photos 📸 — there are lots of things to do: ✨ Ice skating rink ⛸️ ✨ Snow tube slide (height requirement: 42″+) 🛝 ✨ Kids’ craft area 🎨 ✨ Storytime with Mrs. Claus (on the hour) 📖 ✨ Movie theater playing Polar Express 🎬 ✨ Photo op with Santa 🎅🏻 ✨ Dance floor with DJ spinning Christmas tunes 🪩🎶 🎟️ Ticket Tips: 1️⃣ Regular pricing: Adult: $29 | Child (3–13): $21 2️⃣ Kids-Free Days: On dates marked 🔆 “Kids Light Up The Night” on the official website, one child gets in free per paid adult ticket — the discount applies automatically at checkout. 3️⃣ Discounts: Check Groupon for 25%–38% off (valid on select, non-peak dates). 🚗 A Little Bonus Story: We went on opening day and later received an email saying some things weren’t fully ready that night… so they gave us three free tickets! We ended up going twice in one week 😂. Pretty nice gesture from the organizers! ☃️ Final Thoughts: Since the venue is on the smaller side, the regular ticket price may feel a bit steep — and yes, there are larger, more spectacular light displays around Houston. But if you go on a Kids-Free Day or with a discount ticket, it’s definitely worth it — especially for families with young children 👶🏻❤️. The cozier scale might be just perfect for little legs and short attention spans! Wishing you early holiday cheer in Houston! #US #Texas #Houston
