If I could give zero stars I would. Royal Bee is what I'm mainly making a not so good review on.

Me and my family all went to go shopping for black Friday, passing by the store and got a good greeting at first and handing out samples, like great and we wanted to move on. Then she asked if we ever been and we say no and was about to walk away so we can continue shopping, but putting the salt based product in our hands of course my sister can't because she's allergic to a lot of things and she didn't want to risk it. I also have cuts on my hands from work and she informed me that the product was "healing and organic" and it's a salt scrub and everyone knows scrubs and open wound don't mix well... While outside of the store the other workers are trying to get my sister in the store that is allergic and she has been telling them numerous times that she is allergic and all they said it's organic base. It doesn't matter an allergy is an allergy.

She got us in the store, and spoke more about the product, she was being aggressive with it. And never asked us if we were allergic or concerned with anything or even asking if we want to have the product in our hand or on our skin. She showed us videos of her before and after, but she said "this was 2 years ago" and it wasn't. Seeing the date it was a video that was in June of this year of her acne. She shoved the products in our hands and was getting us to the register and not even asking if we wanted to think about buying it or not, we can't afford it we have been getting other things for the day for christmas or even for ourselves and spent what we could. She was pricing it down that we still didn't agree and trying to leave and the aggression was getting worse and worse.

Sales people in this kind of retail need to work on being less aggressive when trying to sell their products and educate themselves on allergens and people who are heavily allergic to...

I've been shopping at this mall since it opened in 1999. I was a teenager then, so I went to the mall quite frequently. I used to love walking through each neighborhood entrance and hearing the automated voice announce the entrance and the neighborhood you were entering. It was so cool! And spending time in Jillian's Entertainment was always a teen fan favorite. It was unlike any other mall at the time. Katy Mills has always been a cool and contemporary mall, meaning that it had more contemporary and hip stores than actual department stores, like other malls. As a teen, I enjoyed the cool stores and experiences that it offered. When I became an adult and started having kids, I liked the fact that Katy Mills catered to kids. And, the fact that Katy Mills is a mile in circumference means that I could take my kids there to get some exercise and wear them out. I still frequent this mall, even to this day. Now, it has changed a whole lot, as have most malls that are still around. The mall is starting to show its age, both inside and outside. But, I still find value in walking around the mall, window shopping, getting some exercise in, and finding great gifts for all sorts of occasions. There is a good mix of stores for all sorts of interests. Overall, I highly recommend Katy Mills to anyone with children. There is a lot to do and experience, and plenty of awesome...

Although my experience was not terrible because I completely ignored the cons of going to this mall, I still feel like I should address it. The kiosk lady by the perfume stand was doing way too much just to get me to buy something. Before they get hired maybe there needs to be better training on how to approach people instead of making them your next victim to scam them out their money. I had to literally say no about five times. It was really rude of her to tell me “oh, well you can get your boyfriend to buy for you.” This was after I said no, on top of me telling her that it was his birthday like why should we have to even feel like we need to go as far as explaining ourselves. Not everyone likes every item that is being sold. This is why others ignore them, and the experience of wanting to just mind your business and peacefully go to the mall gets Ruined. I understand a job has to be done but there needs to be way better training in that department or hire more professional people. Also this place needs way better security. Any one can just walk in here, and there has been a lot of crime in this specific mall. Do it for everyone’s safety not for just us but for your employees as well.
