So happy to have friends visit from afar! An old JX3 gaming buddy from high school came to Chicago, and we decided to check out the popular spot Obelix. 📍 700 N Sedgwick St, Chicago, IL 60654 đŸ„– Start with Patisserie Truffle & Sunchoke Danish – Pretty good, though the cheese inside wasn’t really my thing. đŸ„ Pistachio Croissant – As a Southerner, I LOVED this! Crispy outside, sweet filling inside, strong pistachio aroma—one bite and my mood lifted đŸ€€ (Skip if you don’t like sweet pastries.) đŸ„‚ Appetizer Escargots – Couldn’t stop dipping the bread in the sauce! đŸœïž Main Crepe Homard (Lobster Crepe) 🩞 – The crepe was surprisingly thin, lobster was springy, sauce was light but refreshing overall. 🍮 Other Notes: The famous foie gras canelĂ© is no longer on the menu—replaced by foie gras pancakes. We were skeptical and skipped it this time. 🌾 Overall a great experience—no regrets!
