El Cielo Just Released More Reservations! Highly Recommended!
📍 El Cielo, Washington D.C. Visiting El Cielo for Restaurant Week for the second time! The menu is almost the same as last time – delicious and great value! Everyone, go for it! They've quietly extended Restaurant Week for an extra week until February 9th, and there are still plenty of spots available for the second week! Each time slot has only one table, so book fast before they're gone! 🔶 Appetizers 🍽️ Tuna Tartare: The fish quality is excellent, served with two hollow fish-shaped crisps. Tasty! 🍽️ Lulo Ceviche: Four pieces of fish cured in lemon sauce – this one is truly delicious! The lemon sauce is sweet and tangy, very appetizing. 🍽️ Corn Soup: A sweet corn soup with a hint of chocolate flavor! Rich and aromatic, and it includes a small piece of corn cake inside. 🔶 Entrée 🍽️ Quail: Grilled quail served with rice. The rice resembles paella rice – large-grained and slightly firm. The quail is filled with a savory stuffing – very fragrant. 🍽️ Rockfish: Braised fish with quinoa. The fish skin is crispy, and it's roasted to perfection. Served with baby corn. 🔶 Dessert 🍧 Cholao: Similar to last Restaurant Week – ice cream with popping candy and bursting boba. A bit sour 🥲. 🍧 Winter: White chocolate with frozen yogurt ice cream. Also quite sour 🥲. 🔶 Add-on Tree of Life: A large tree-shaped bread served with cilantro sauce, spicy tomato sauce, and caramelized butter sauce. Very filling. 🌟 A restaurant I'd consider visiting a third time! Easy to park – the Union Market parking garage is right downstairs with 3 hours of free parking. The Restaurant Week price is very reasonable, under $100 per person is wallet-friendly. Great flavor, excellent ambiance, the food is delicious, and the tables are well-spaced, making it perfect for a date – quiet and relaxing! #DCRestaurantWeek #WashingtonDC #DCFood #WashingtonDCEats #ColombianCuisine
