Farm Boy's beef rolls have reached the next level
🍍 located in Ottawa, Ontario. Farm Boy, have you changed your management or conducted a survey of Asian supermarkets? I was amazed to find a winter hot pot companion in the freezer. The quality of their meat has always been consistent, and the prices have even surpassed T&T and New World. I usually just pass by to buy some green onions, but this winter, I have to make a special trip to shop here. 🍍Typically, Western supermarkets only sell beef and mutton slices for hot pot, but Farm Boy even offers pork and chicken rolls, which deserves a thumbs up. So the question arises: how to cook thin chicken thigh rolls to be delicious? For hot pot? That doesn't seem right; free-range chicken should be the standard. Farm Boy's "rolls" have won, but it seems they haven't quite captured the essence of hot pot. 🍍Lastly, Farm Boy's own brand of white chocolate macadamia nut cookies is worth a try! Western desserts generally have a heavy hand with sugar; yes, these are sweet too! But not overly so, and they are crispy with a chewy texture! The baked macadamia nuts and white chocolate add more richness to the taste. Many years ago, when Starbucks discontinued this cookie, there were few similar alternatives on the market. Although Metro, Sobeys, and other supermarkets carry them, Farm Boy's taste is the closest to the original. #OttawaLife #FoodSharing #OttawaFood #FarmBoyRecommendation #OttawaShopExploration #Ottawa
