Bring buckets and shovels—kids can play for hours 🌱There are over a dozen cherry blossom trees in the park onshore. Cherry petals falling against the lake view is absolutely stunning 🌱We caught an art and craft exhibition when we visited, and the rainbow🌈 houses by the pier were gorgeous! 🌱If you’re with kids, stop by the nearby RBG Center, which has a great Natural Playground (680 Plains Rd, W, Burlington) 🍢Toronto DT "A BBQ" I’d heard so much about this spot, so we checked it out on our way back. It’s really popular—we waited a bit even on a Sunday night in downtown. Everything we ordered was amazing, and the food came out super fast—definitely worth a visit! 🍢Skewers Highly recommend lamb skewers, beef heart tubes, beef tendons, and cilantro tofu skin. All are perfectly grilled, with great color, aroma, and flavor. The lamb skewers are tender with a mix of fat and lean, charred on the outside. They also provide extra BBQ seasoning and chili flakes for those who like stronger flavors—so thoughtful 🍢Duck Blood Vermicelli Soup My favorite! The duck blood in this bowl was more than the vermicelli—definitely the star. Roasted in foil, it’s fragrant and flavorful, so satisfying to eat 🍢New Item: Grilled Lamb Chops Cooked to perfection, with generous portions. Would be even better with a bit more seasoning 🍢Grilled Scallops The scallops are clean, tender, and flavorful, with plenty of garlic—so aromatic 🍢Cheese-Baked Corn Who wouldn’t love this? After spicy BBQ, the sweet, creamy, slightly charred cheese corn is the perfect finish😋 🍢Dumpling Soup (Geda Tang) Originally ordered for the kids, but it was a nice surprise—my husband and I each had a big bowl, and there was enough left to take home.
