Food Adventures in Chicago Lately
First time posting, forgot a lot of the dish names π€― β will try to remember next time! π¬ π½οΈ Ema (Mediterranean) Second visit, tried some staff recommendations: β¨ Dates with honey, pomegranate seeds, and pita Dates + yogurt, sweet and tangy with pomegranate seeds β unique and delicious wrapped in warm pita! Rating: βββββ π Lamb dish β Decent, not mind-blowing but tasty. Normal performance. π§ Cheese + honey baked with chili flakes β Fragrant, crispy on the edges, really nice! π¦ Sun Wah BBQ Peking duck skin was crispy and juicy! But β served with bao buns instead of steamed wrappers π (not traditional, a bit disappointing). Duck bone soup β big NO π, bland even with bean sprouts and pickles. Duck over rice β also no π, rice was mushy, no wok aroma. However β took leftovers home and made duck noodles π β turned out great! Maybe try making Thai duck curry with Trader Joeβs yellow curry paste β thatβs delicious! π Nora Oxtail pasta β tasty but oxtail portions were tiny! πΏ 3 Arts Club Cafe Beautiful setting, had brunch with my girl π. Lobster roll was okay, but my friendβs beef sandwich π₯ͺ was really good β recommend trying that! π Palilgu (New Korean spot in Wicker Park) Fried chicken π β super crispy and juicy inside! So good. Rating: βββββ Also had pork tofu stew (forgot to snap a pic) β tasty too! #ChicagoEats #ChicagoFood #FoodReview #MediterraneanFood #PekingDuck #KoreanFood
