Found the Best Ice Cream of My Life in DC‼️

Don't Miss It If You're Here for the Cherry Blossoms 🌸 📍 Dolcezza 904 Palmer Alley NW, Washington, DC 20001 Calling it the best in DC might even be an understatement—it could be the best ice cream I’ve had in the U.S. so far! 🙌 Every single flavor is amazing. The texture is incredibly smooth and creamy, with a rich dairy flavor that puts many classic American brands to shame. Plus, they have a black sesame flavor that’s perfect for those who love Asian-inspired tastes, along with rotating seasonal specials. 🍨 I first fell in love with their Mascarpone & Berries flavor at Whole Foods three years ago—the packaging may look simple, but the taste and texture are absolutely divine! This time, I picked three scoops you can’t find in supermarkets and sampled the Red Velvet. The Red Velvet was just okay—the ice cream base is great, but the flavor itself didn’t wow me. 1️⃣ Hazelnut Crackle Tastes like Ferrero Rocher in ice cream form! Rich hazelnut flavor with chocolate crisps—so satisfying and textured. Are you a nutty ice cream person or more into fruity flavors? 2️⃣ Black Sesame As a black sesame lover, I liked it—smooth, no gritty texture, and melts wonderfully with a strong nutty aftertaste. But it didn’t totally blow my mind. What’s your favorite Asian-inspired ice cream flavor? 3️⃣ Coconut & Dulce de Leche A seasonal special! Strong coconut flavor swirled with milky caramel sauce—even gooier and richer than the base ice cream. A bit sweet for me, but my mom loved it so much we took a pint home! 🥥🍯 Do you prefer classic flavors or limited editions? 💡 A heads-up: A pint costs 12 in-store (while supermarket versions are 6–7), so maybe try the exclusive flavors at the shop first! I also grabbed two supermarket pints to bring home: 🫐 Mascarpone & Berries Like a sea salt cream foam with tangy berry swirl—absolutely their signature flavor. A must-try! I’m obsessed 😍 🍓 Roasted Strawberry No big fruit chunks like Häagen-Dazs, just tiny strawberry seeds—but the milky, fruity flavor is so much richer. And I usually don’t even like strawberry ice cream! Have you tried Dolcezza before? Which flavor is your favorite?
