๐ Good Eats in Chicago for the New Year!
Recently tried Adalina Italian and Jokbal Night Market (Korean) โ both were absolutely delicious! ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐น Adalina Italian: The restaurant decor is gorgeous โ wearing a dress and taking photos on the staircase is super photogenic! ๐ธโจ They also have happy hour before 6 PM on weekdays. We ordered gnocco fritto (crispy bread + prosciutto + honey ricotta โ an absolute 10/10! ๐ฏ), arancini (also great), though the oysters were just okay (maybe Iโm just spoiled after San Diego ๐ ). For pasta, we got the bolognese and shrimp lumache โ both were flavorful, not too heavy or salty, which feels rare in Chicago! ๐ค๐ ๐ฐ๐ท Jokbal Night Market (Arlington Heights): We ordered the 3โ4 person set, and the portions were huge โ couldnโt finish even with four people, so we took leftovers home ๐ฅกโจ The half & half pig trotters were super fragrant, and the spicy version had a nice kick ๐ถ๏ธ๐ท. The gamjatang (pork bone soup) was a pleasant surprise too โ came with dough flakes and was so warming and comforting for winter ๐ฒโ๏ธ. #ChicagoEats #ChicagoFood #AdalinaItalian #JokbalNightMarket #ItalianFood #KoreanFood
