Great Value Mediterranean Dinner for Chicago Restaurant Week — Eden

Eden used to be my go-to brunch spot in West Loop, but it closed during the pandemic and later reopened in Avondale. I finally visited the new location for Restaurant Week. 🥗 First Course: Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad – Huge bowl with almonds, sweet apple slices, and cheese — fresh, crunchy, and light. 🍰 Dessert – Pear + bergamot mousse on a buckwheat pancake base, or sea salt caramel walnut brownie with banana ice cream. Both were delicious — the mousse was bright, the brownie rich but balanced by ice cream. 🍝 Extra Order: Crab + Butternut Squash Cavatelli – Not part of the RW menu, but we wanted more. Sweet squash, tender crab, and crispy breadcrumbs — absolutely worth it. For just $42, Eden’s Restaurant Week menu was filling and flavorful — better value than many $59 options.
