Greenville, SC | Must-Try Lobster Roll in This "Green Town" 🩞

Greenville, South Carolina, is said to be one of the most livable cities in the US—and since I stayed near Main Street this trip, I’m declaring it the best city for a City Walk! đŸš¶ 1. The Jones Oyster Co. A popular local spot that’s half restaurant, half bar—its most famous dishes are oysters and lobster rolls. When I arrived, there was a long line outside, but since I was alone, I got lucky: there was a single seat at the bar! I ordered the Connecticut Lobster Roll with fries and coleslaw, and it was absolutely amazing 😍. The bread was crispy on the outside, infused with buttery aroma, and inside? It was stuffed with huge chunks of lobster meat—not tiny scraps, but plump, tender, and bouncy pieces. The fries were my favorite kind too: crispy all the way through. Pairing everything with the tangy coleslaw to cut through the richness was perfect. I also tried two types of oysters—they’re fresh daily, so the varieties change, and you can ask the staff for recommendations đŸŠȘ. The oysters came with three dipping sauces: two had mustard, and one was tangy (I even used that one for my fries—it worked!). Btw, the complimentary appetizer snack was great too—their hummus had such a delicious flavor! 📍 22 E Court St, Greenville, SC 29601 After Eating: Wander & Explore Once you’re full, walk along Main Street toward Reedy River Falls—this stretch is packed with cute shops, and every step is fun: 2. River Street Sweets This shop sells all kinds of chocolates, candies, pastries, and ice cream. Its claim to fame is pralines—caramel candies with nuts. They’re super fragrant, but be warned: they’re very sweet! It’s worth popping in for a look (and maybe a small treat) 🍬. 3. Local Coffee & Art Shop There’s a cozy “coffee & art” store on Main Street too—they sell all kinds of paintings and artworks, which gives the place a unique, creative vibe. Their coffee has great reviews online, so it’s a perfect pit stop if you need a pick-me-up ☕. 📍 14 S Main St, Greenville, SC 29601 4. Famous Reedy River Falls The falls are in a small park, and the scenery is so lovely— the whole atmosphere feels relaxed and chill 🧘. Everyone wanders at a slow pace, and the “vibe” here is just so comforting. The waterfall itself is small—you can walk around the area in less than 10 minutes—but it’s definitely worth seeing for its peaceful charm! 📍 37 Furman College Way, Greenville, SC 29601 #GoodMoodFromCasualWalks #WeekendWandering #Food #TheJoyOfWandering #WaterfallsInMyGallery #GlobalFoodieSquad #NorthAmericaLife #SouthCarolina #SC #Greenville
