Harrisburg · Pho 99 🍜

Went out during the long weekend and stopped by Harrisburg for lunch. Chose this spot based on online reviews—definitely lives up to its reputation for being affordable and loaded with meat! 💰🥩 Seems like an authentic pho place. The owner’s English isn’t very strong, so if you have questions, better to ask the server 🧑🍳. Their large bowl is HUGE—I’d recommend going with the small unless you’re really hungry! 😅 Ordered the Thai red tea—it was the least sweet version I’ve ever had in a restaurant, and I really liked it! ☕❤ SP2 Bún Bò Huế Đặc Biệt Special Vietnamese Hue-style rice and vermicelli beef soup. The portion of meat was generous, and the bowl was packed with ingredients. Everything was delicious… except the pork hock—it wasn’t as tender as what we’re used to. Not a fan. 🍖👎 SP4 Hủ Tiếu/Mì Bò Kho Vietnamese beef stew with egg noodles. You can choose between rice noodles or egg noodles—I went with rice noodles. This one was much oilier compared to SP2. While I could still sip the broth from SP2, this one felt like drinking oil 🫗😳. It’s filled with beef, and most pieces were good, but a few were overly fatty. C2 Đậu Hủ Chiên Giòn Deep-fried tofu served with peanut sauce. The tofu was crispy and delicious as always! 😋🍯 💰 Total for two: just over $50 📍 1030 S 13th St, Harrisburg, PA 17104 #USAFood #HarrisburgEats #Pennsylvania #PhoLovers
