The Magnificent Capitol Building of Harrisburg 🏛️✨

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is well worth a visit — it’s the largest city along the Susquehanna River 🌊🏙️. In my opinion, the main attraction is definitely the Capitol Building 😍. Second are the beautiful bridges spanning the Susquehanna River 🌉🤩. That said, many towns along the Susquehanna River share similar scenery 🏞️. Downstream, smaller towns like Columbia and Lancaster don’t differ much in overall urban style. The main distinction is that Lancaster is home to a large Amish community 👨🌾👩🌾, adding unique cultural charm. Another surprise was Allentown—a city I’d never heard of before, only to later learn it’s one of the world’s top retirement destinations 🏙️👴👵. Although the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum was closed that day, I met its elegant and kind director who gifted me a warm hug and a commemorative bell 🔔❤️. #USTravel #OffTheBeatenPathUSA #Pennsylvania #Harrisburg
