Hidden Gem Italian Restaurant 🧀｜Endless Cheese = Pure Bliss!

Over the weekend, we celebrated a friend’s birthday and searched for a good group spot — ended up choosing this Italian place that takes reservations for 10+ and has over 2k Google reviews with a 4.6 rating! 📍 Calo Ristorante I absolutely loved their complimentary bread basket 🍞 — not just small rolls but also a slice of soft, fluffy tomato pizza inside! Paired with butter, it was so fragrant. When we asked to take some bread home, they packed us a whole box — so generous! Their mains are huge — definitely filling. And they don’t stop grating cheese until you say when — the Italian server just kept going haha 🇮🇹🧀 🦞 Ravioli di Aragosta Lobster-stuffed ravioli in a creamy white sauce with seafood and asparagus. Tasty at first but got a bit heavy later. 🧀 Burrata As a serious cheese lover, this appetizer was my favorite! A giant mozzarella ball surrounded by arugula and drizzled with sweet-tangy sauce — loved it! 🍈 Prosciutto E Melone Cantaloupe wrapped with Italian prosciutto — refreshing, sweet-salty, and delicious. 🍚 Risotto Frutti Di Mare Seafood risotto packed with generous seafood — the shrimp were huge! You can choose white or red sauce; we went with white (red has onions). My first white-sauce seafood risotto — really good! 🍄 Pappardelle con Funghi (my friend’s order) Mushroom pasta — highly recommended! The mushrooms were incredibly fragrant. 🦑 Fried calamari and lasagna were decent but not outstanding. The vibe was great — three tables were celebrating birthdays that night!
