🍴 Hidden Gem Italian Restaurant in Chicago dt – Nonnina 🍕

Been busy moving lately, so it’s been a while since my last food review — but today I’m dusting off my page to share this little find ✨ Let me introduce you to Nonnina, an Italian restaurant located in downtown Chicago. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, perfect for a romantic date 💕, friends’ gathering 👯‍♀️, or even a birthday celebration 🎈. Some dishes are truly standout, and with an average price around $50+ per person, it offers great value overall. 🍽️ Antipasti (Starters) ▪️ Roasted Octopus – $26 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tender yet crispy octopus legs 🦑, packed with flavor—highly recommended! 🥗 Insalata (Salads) ▪️ Eggplant Salad – $19 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The eggplant 🍆 is fried and a bit oily and firm—lacks the refreshing feel you’d expect from a salad. A little heavy for my taste. 🍕 Pizze (Pizza) ▪️ Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza – $22 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Decent but on the dry side. If you’re into Italian cured ham 🍗, you might still enjoy it. 🍝 Secondi (Mains) ▪️ Rigatoni alla Vodka – $26 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Creamy, smooth vodka sauce 🥫 with a subtle boozy hint—so velvety and delicious. Super recommend! ▪️ Pork Ossobuco – $39 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fall-off-the-bone tender pork shank 🍖 served with risotto that’s soaked up all the savory sauce. A must-order! 📍 Address: 340 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60654 #Chicago #ChicagoLife #ChicagoEats #ItalianFood #ChicagoFoodie #ChicagoTravel #HiddenGems
