🌟 Highly Recommend a Trip to Galveston
You can drive your car onto the ferry 🚗⛴️, cross over to the other side, and then continue your journey back to Houston or Dallas! After getting off the ferry, you can even try fishing and crabbing 🦀🎣 right there! 📸 shows the route: Section A to B is the ferry ride. After the ferry, you’ll reach the beautiful Bolivar Peninsula. 🏖️ features Galveston East Beach — highly recommended! It has the softest sand we’ve ever walked on — almost like white powder 🏝️✨, and it’s perfect for drawing or writing in the sand! 🥑 Lastly, don’t miss Tia Juanita’s on the peninsula! We tried the alligator tacos 🐊🌮 and they were absolutely delicious. The owner was super friendly and told us all about how the alligator is sourced from Louisiana — how it’s caught, etc. This place is a true hidden gem — not even on ! When we asked how often she sees Asian customers, she said, “Quite a few!” 😄 🌅 After that, we drove east to leave Bolivar Peninsula and head home. There’s only one road on the island, and you can see the ocean and beaches on both sides 🚗🌊. 🔄 If you prefer, you can also take the ferry back the same way. 🍲 Extra Tip: On Galveston Island, check out Cajun Greek — their seafood soup is amazing! 🥣🦞 Pro tip: Look for Abraham, the only Chinese server there — he can recommend dishes that suit a Chinese palate (otherwise, you might end up with overly greasy American-style seafood 😅). #Houston #Texas #Galveston #Dallas #Austin #Louisiana #TravelUSA #SouthernUS #GulfOfMexico #Seafood #Crabbing #USBeaches #SanAntonio #Orlando #LifeInTexas #Oklahoma 🌮🦀🌊🌅
