Houston | Gyudon | Japanese BBQ & Sushi Buffet
đ Graduation is around the corner, so of course we had to seize the opportunity to dine out with friends! This time, we headed to a place I hadnât tried yetââGyudon Yakiniku Speciality Shop.â It offers Japanese BBQ plus an all-you-can-eat sushi and sashimi buffet. The menu looks incredibly rich, so we decided to go for it! â · The restaurant is quite spacious with ample seating that doesnât feel cramped. They have lunch and dinner options, including an Ultimate and a Supreme dinner package, with child prices available đšâđ©âđ§, making it very family-friendly and great for group dining! · We chose the Ultimate package. Apart from a few upgraded dishes on the Supreme menu, most of the popular BBQ items and sushi are available at lunch, which is more than enough to satisfy your cravings! · BBQ Tips Summary The grill here doesnât come pre-greased by default, so you can ask the waiter to oil it in advance. đ„ The heat starts off gently, but once it gets going, it quickly turns into âflame mode,â making it very easy to burn the meat! · For those who, like us, arenât great at controlling the heat, start with NY steak or large rib pieces. Theyâre thick and more heat-resistant, so theyâre less likely to go wrong! Thin slices like brisket, beef tongue, or lean pork with less fat need extra care, or theyâll really turn into a âcharcoal setâ đ · Their garlic-infused series, wrapped in foil, such as garlic scallops đŠȘ and garlic shrimp đŠŽ, wonât burn and have an incredibly rich garlic aroma. If you love garlic, youâve got to try it! · In addition to the BBQ, their sushi and sashimi are also very impressive! đ The slices of salmon, tuna, octopus đ, scallops đŠ, and snapper are all quite thick. The ingredients are very fresh, and the presentation is quite elegantâperfect for taking photos! #100RestaurantsChallenge #HoustonWeekendDates #HoustonRestaurantReview #JapaneseBBQ #Sashimi #Sushi #AllYouCanEatBBQ #HoustonFood
