Houston French Cuisine | My Top Favorite Finally Shows Up

After moving from New York to Houston, I’d completely given up on finding good French cuisine. Then, finally, a standout spot emerged. This restaurant is opened by a former chef from Daniel—the two-Michelin-starred restaurant in New York. Rumor has it the chef married a Texas girl, who also happens to be the daughter of the owner of a well-known Texas restaurant chain 🧐. Coincidentally, my husband used to work at Daniel too. 🦋🦋 We had a nice chat with the chef before sitting down to eat. There were four of us, and the total cost was around $600—we even got a friendly discount. It was so incredibly delicious! 🥰🥰 My absolute favorites were the foie gras, uni pasta, and lobster bisque.💞💞 ✨ Compared to big cities like New York, the foie gras here offers amazing value for money. Served with a jam-filled pastry crust, it wasn’t the least bit greasy.🌸 ✨ I ordered the uni pasta, and it exceeded all my expectations—the texture was absolutely fantastic.🍉🍉 ✨ The lobster bisque was a must-have; practically every table had a bowl. True to Texas style, the portion size was huge. The soup itself was a bit salty, but once you broke into the flaky pastry on top and ate them together, the saltiness vanished. I just couldn’t stop sipping it!❣️❣️ The desserts 🍮 were just so-so, but I didn’t mind at all. Finding a French restaurant in Houston that I love this much was such a wonderful surprise! The chef is definitely going to have a thriving business—this place is truly delicious 😋.
