Went on the first day and bought ten boxes total—for myself, my boyfriend, and a Canadian friend—totaling over $700 💸. When checking out, I asked the staff about free gifts with purchase. The female employee showed me a card and a metal pin. I asked if I could get two sets since I bought so much, but she said no—it‘s one gift per transaction 😤. Since she hadn’t finished scanning and I hadn’t paid yet, I suggested splitting my purchase into five separate transactions (each over $100) to get five gifts. She clearly found it troublesome and immediately changed her reason, saying it‘s one gift per person 🙄. A male employee nearby couldn’t stand it, grabbed a handful of gifts, stuffed them into my bag, and said, "No worries, I got you covered." 🙌 I quickly paid and left. Then when I got home, I checked the official page and found out they didn’t give me the gold Gundam stand that’s supposed to come with purchases over $120… 😱 The auntie handing out shield balloons at the entrance was really nice—when I said I was buying for two friends, she gave me three balloons without hesitation 🎈🎈🎈. Bandai, your Gundam prices in the U.S. are already sky-high—can you please not be so stingy with the freebies? 😾 The gachapon machines cost 3-5 tokens per try, with each token selling for $3.
