Okay, let me preface this by saying this store has, by far, the most pops I have ever seen in one place. To say their selection is impressive is putting it VERY mildly. Some may say their prices for the pops are a bit pricey and in many ways I can understand that though we use the official Funko Pop pricing app that shows what these pops are worth and from what we saw, their mark-up is reasonable as well. Their selection is amazing. If you want to find the most in terms of Funko Pops, this is the store to go to in my opinion. However. If you want to sell your Funko pops, I won't say this isn't a good store to do so with, but I will warn you to make sure you look at all alternative options before deciding. We are collectors of Funko Pops, to say the least, and we are looking to sell. Our collection, as per the offical Funko Pop pricing app, is worth over $2.5k. So, we were fairly sure we were going to sell to this store our collection. We knew, of course, the store would not give us the exact amount given on the Funko Pop pricing app, the store needs to make money too. Entirely reasonable. If we had sold to them, however, we would have taken a nearly 40% loss as we were given the offer of a little over $1.5k. It was nearly one grand less than what our collection is worth. That's a bit too much in my personal opinion. I do understand the store needs to make a cut too but we have Pops in our collection that if we sold just ONE of them we'd make nearly $150 on just the one. The list we gave was about 80 Pops and we would have lost nearly half of the full investment if we had sold to this company. If you want to sell to them, by all means. They are a good company if you're looking to buy. If you're looking to sell, however, make sure you look at as many alternatives as possible before deciding. You may have something worth a lot and you may end up taking a big loss on such a sale. In the end, as good of a store as this is (and I will always stand by that), we won't be selling to them...
Read moreI've always been a big kid at heart and me growing up in the 80's I've always been very fond and nostalgic when it comes to Retro gaming, Movie pop culture and collectables. When I came across the Game Bros shop I had an instant, almost overwhelming rush of my great memorable childhood flash back in my mind as I blinked over and over trying to take in all the Radical and badassery that was surrounding me. Everything from Retro gaming consoles, various game titles, accessories and even awesome collectibles from Anime, Movie Icons to even a great selection of hard to come by Funko Pops. I dealt with the gentleman named Greg and he definitely seemed to know his business and was super knowledgeable and friendly. If he doesn't have what you're looking for don't be afraid to say Hi to the man and ask him about it. You may be surprised that he may even be able to find it for you if it's not at one of his other stores.... YES, Game Bros has several stores guys! I give Game Bros 5 Stars and 2 thumbs up! This is my Go to shop for...
Read moreDo not bother attempting to bring Funko Pops to them. I brought two boxes commons, shop exclusives, and a few grails (Edna, Mad Hatter, Captain Hook).
I waited for 15-30 minutes waiting to to be called back about my inventory only to be told that they couldn't accept any because they already have all the commons I had at their warehouse. Which okay, that's alright. The problem was the comments regarding my grails.
The blonde haired lady with glasses their said she was skeptical of my grails and claimed they were not authentic, even I had them reviewed by other collector's beforehand and received them from goodwill at a lucky buy.
About 2 months later after the incident, I managed to sell the Edna for $200+ on Mercari. This week, I traded up my Captain Hook and Mad Hatter for more Pops I enjoy having.
Why even offer in-store credit for bringing in more Pops if you all basically have most if not all? It was ridiculous, this place is just for profit and not for the hobby at all. Look elsewhere...
