Hugo Tea Space — A Peaceful Tea Break 🍵✨

Haven’t visited this tea house near my place in a while. Since the last post mentioned Mamamadee’s spring dessert pop-up (pickup at Hugo Tea Space), I grabbed my sweets and settled in for some tea. You can order drinks à la carte or choose a tea session: ▪️ $14 for unlimited tea ▪️ +$13 for a small tea snack plate ▪️ +$7 to switch to another tea variety They offer a decent range — black, green, white, oolong. I started with “Duck Shit” oolong 🦆🍃, then switched to Moonlight white tea after a few steeps (though I should’ve gone light to dark!). Didn’t open my Mamamadee treats yet, so I added the house tea snacks. Hugo Tea is currently collaborating with Filipino bakery For the Homie’s — offering pineapple cakes, seaweed crisps, and rose matcha cookies. Salty-sweet and perfect with tea. On weekdays, it’s quiet and cozy — you can sip tea and work or relax for hours. The staff refills your pot almost before you notice it’s empty — no eye contact needed 😌. A great alternative to coffee shops for focused time. Hugo Tea Space: 1816 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647 #ChicagoEats #TeaHouse #HugoTea #ChicagoFoodie #LoganSquare #TeaSession #PeacefulVibe
