I actually prefer Milli's interior design over their coffee
Yes, the café space is really beautiful — lots of warm marble and stone finishes, paired with mid-century modern furniture.😍 But sometimes it feels like Chicago cafes are secretly competing in an architecture and design contest: each space outdoes the last, while the coffee and pastries remain noticeably similar — either Nordic-inspired or Asian-influenced (well, more specifically Filipino-inspired lately).👌👍 Milli’s pastries lean a bit too sweet for me, to the point where the sugar overpowers other flavors. Bad Butter does this better — they layer flavors while still letting each one come through.❤️😊 As for the coffee — it’s fine, nothing special.
