I captured 18 stunning moments of Chicago🌆

Since my brief visit to LA in 2014, my next chapter in the U.S. brought me to Chicago—a city of stark contrasts, both loved and hated, and unmistakably bold as the third-largest city in America. Steeped in history from the booming industrial era over a century ago, it boasts towering skyscrapers, an almost magical elevated train system, and elegant lakeside urban planning. Yet it’s also known for its relentless wind, unpredictable weather, and the many myths that earned it the nickname "Gotham." That’s exactly why it feels like paradise—especially for landscape photographers, architecture lovers, and history enthusiasts... 🚇 Riding the train through its vibrant neighborhoods, walking across the vibrating steel bridges over the Chicago River, watching planes ascend gently along the lake, witnessing silver-winged trains glide past, skyscrapers glowing through the night, and people rushing through steel and glass canyons… It wasn’t until I was about to leave that I realized how profoundly moving every moment in this city could be. Over the past year and a half, I’ve photographed almost every famous landscape photography spot in Chicago. I’ve captured its four distinct seasons and preserved 18 breathtaking moments. Many of these scenes, angles, and once-in-a-lifetime weather conditions will leave an indelible mark on my journey as a photographer. 📸✨ #Photography #XiaohongshuImageContest #PhotoInspiration #UrbanPhotography #LandscapePhotography #USA #Chicago #MustVisitSpots
