I Finally Found Hubei-Style Chopped Chili Fish Head in Chicago!

After so long, I finally got to enjoy the most beloved dish for Hubei folks β€” chopped chili fish head! Can you feel my excitement?! This dish is pure gold 🀩. The fish head is steamed fresh β€” takes about 20 minutes β€” and the chopped chili is generously loaded, bursting with flavor. The fish itself? Super fresh! Another standout was the Hunan-style sour and spicy chicken gizzards with mixed noodles β€” incredibly appetizing, noodles are chewy and satisfying πŸ˜‹. The dry pot pork intestines started out tender, then as it heated up, slowly turned crispy and absorbed all the delicious seasoning. So good.πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜‚ Xiang Xiang Xiang (Hunan Cuisine) has been my go-to ever since my first day in the U.S., when a local church group brought me here. Every dish is a hit β€” no risk of disappointment. Convenient parking right across the street too πŸ“ 2002 S Wentworth Ave Unit 100. #Chicago #ChicagoEats #ChineseFoodInChicago #UChicago #ChinatownChicago #HunanCuisine
