I Finally Found Hubei-Style Chopped Chili Fish Head in Chicago!
After so long, I finally got to enjoy the most beloved dish for Hubei folks β chopped chili fish head! Can you feel my excitement?! This dish is pure gold π€©. The fish head is steamed fresh β takes about 20 minutes β and the chopped chili is generously loaded, bursting with flavor. The fish itself? Super fresh! Another standout was the Hunan-style sour and spicy chicken gizzards with mixed noodles β incredibly appetizing, noodles are chewy and satisfying π. The dry pot pork intestines started out tender, then as it heated up, slowly turned crispy and absorbed all the delicious seasoning. So good.ππ Xiang Xiang Xiang (Hunan Cuisine) has been my go-to ever since my first day in the U.S., when a local church group brought me here. Every dish is a hit β no risk of disappointment. Convenient parking right across the street too π 2002 S Wentworth Ave Unit 100. #Chicago #ChicagoEats #ChineseFoodInChicago #UChicago #ChinatownChicago #HunanCuisine
