Japanese Cocktail Bar in Chicago|Juno
Haven’t shared a restaurant rec in a while — today’s pick is the Japanese cocktail bar Juno Sushi! It’s a sister restaurant of Mako, and we were super surprised to see Chef B.K. Park dining there that night — wonder how the chef feels tasting his own spot’s food? 😉 🍸 Cocktails: Highly recommend the Lychee-tini — martini base with sweet lychee, perfect for those who prefer lighter drinks 👍🏻. Also loved the yuzu & grapefruit sour — tangy and boozy. For something sweeter, try Bee’s Knees — clean, honeyed, and refreshing! 🍣 Food: Prices are fair, but portions are small — great for sharing. Highlights: uni and their signature rolls Juno King / Juno Queen — creative and delicious! Hand rolls and sushi are fresh and solid — no disappointments 👏🏻. Only miss: the grilled octopus was a bit too charred for my taste 🥲. 🍴 Vibe: Lovely atmosphere — you enter through the bar, then behind a screen unfolds a spacious dining area. Modern Japanese decor, brighter than Mako, perfect for small gatherings with drinks 🥂. 📍 Address: Juno Sushi Chicago 2638 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60614 #ChicagoEats #JunoSushi #JapaneseCocktails #SushiBar #ChicagoFoodie #DateNightSpot
