Kyoto, Japan 🌨️ | A Collection of Stunning Destinations
Many friends have recently traveled to Japan, and Kyoto is in the midst of winter❄️. I'm sure everyone is eagerly looking forward to snowfall. 1⃣️ Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) 📍 Kita-ku, Kyoto, Kinkakuji-cho 🔹 If I had to choose just one place to visit, I would without hesitation say Kinkaku-ji in the snow. After a snowfall, the golden pavilion gleams against the pure white snow, creating a scene as if from a painting, incredibly dreamlike. 2⃣️ Kiyomizu-dera 📍 Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto, Kiyomizu 1-chome 🔹 After Kiyomizu-dera opens at 6 a.m., you can visit Okunoin to see the Kiyomizu stage. The silvery white landscape is truly atmospheric. 3⃣️ Hōgen-ji (Yasaka Pagoda) 📍 Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto, Yasaka Gion-saguramachi 🔹 One of Kyoto's iconic structures. The five-storied pagoda in the snow and the ancient streets are picture-perfect, like postcard-quality scenes. 4⃣️ Niomon Slope (Niōzaka) 🔹 During the day, Niomon Slope is very lively, but visiting at this time offers a different experience. In the quiet, deserted early morning, you can better appreciate the charm of Kyoto's ancient streets. 5⃣️ Sannenzaka Slope (Sannenzaka) 🔹 With shops and restaurants lining both sides, taking a walk on this snow-covered ancient staircase in the early morning when there's no one around allows you to experience a rare tranquility. 6⃣️ Gion Shrine 📍 Sakyō-ku, Kyoto, Kurama Gion-cho 🔹 The snow-covered approach lit by lanterns is a sight that many consider a must-see once in a lifetime. #JapanTravelGuide #Kyoto #Ryokan #Japan #WinterSnowscape
