LA Food Diaries 🍜 | 13 Restaurants That Fueled My Week
Here’s a roundup of my recent eats across LA—some comforting, some surprising, all delicious in their own way. From Chinese breakfast to Italian sandwiches, here’s what made the cut: 1️⃣ Me + Crêpe – Savory Chinese breakfast crepes with tofu pudding & tea eggs. Hearty, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. 2️⃣ Qin's Garden – Late-night Chinese skewers & snacks: grilled chicken skeleton, stinky tofu, and grilled cold noodles. Great seasoning! 3️⃣ Rotisserie Chicken of California – Family-run spot with juicy, fresh-roasted chicken. Pure protein joy. 4️⃣ Boiling Point – Reliable hot pot for one. Could be saltier, but always satisfying. 5️⃣ Zhao’s Chongqing Noodles – Spicy, savory noodles with generous meat topping. Perfect slightly al dente. 6️⃣ Mamie – Italian-style ciabatta with burrata and fig jam. Light, fresh, and impossible to resist. 7️⃣ 99 Ranch Roast Meat Plate – Shockingly good and only $7! A Cantonese roast treasure. 8️⃣ Matcha Ren – Sweet-tooth heaven: Mont Blanc matcha dessert with strawberries. 9️⃣ Ramen Tatsunoya – Warming ramen for chilly days. Loved the gyoza and tender chashu. 🔟 Danbi – Michelin-noted Korean, but too sweet for my taste. Not a repeat. 1️⃣1️⃣ Taier – Pre-made but tasty: Sichuan fish soup, popcorn chicken, squid tentacles, and dry-fried green beans. 1️⃣2️⃣ Tartine Bakery – Classic smoked salmon toast—generous, rich, and satisfying. 1️⃣3️⃣ Motto Tea Cafe – Light, not-too-sweet desserts. Peach black tea cake is a must for sweet-lovers. From quick bites to slow meals, LA really does feed you well—body and soul. 🥢❤️ #LosAngeles #LAEats #FoodRoundup #ComfortFood #ChineseFood #Ramen #MatchaDessert #BudgetEats #Brunch #StreetFood #FoodieDiary #EatLA #WeekOfFood #LocalFavorites
