La Vecchia Conca | Relieve Your Anxiety at This Roman Restaurant 🍋

On my first day in Rome, I randomly walked into La Vecchia Conca for lunch. 🍝 As soon as I entered, I was already intrigued by these words displayed at p3. The restaurant's dining area is in a semi-basement, and the internet connection isn't great. That's probably why the owner put up these words to reassure everyone. But the restaurant actually does have free WiFi. Even if you really need the internet, you won't be embarrassed. This message truly helps to relieve some digital anxiety! 📶 I chose a few dishes based on the staff's recommendations. The Bruschetta di Benvenuto as an appetizer had incredibly fresh tomatoes, bursting with a strong vegetable flavor, perfect for awakening the taste buds. 🍅 The second dish, the penne, was a bit too sour for my taste. The acidity completely overshadowed the rich cheese flavor. Personally, I don't think it would appeal much to Chinese palates. 🍝 The third dish was a classic Italian pork cutlet with potatoes. The pork was quite lean and dry, but the potatoes were a bit more enjoyable. 🍖 The dessert was my favorite! It was a lemon-flavored cake with a frozen cream filling in the middle. It was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended! 🍰 The service here was also great. The waitress who served us spoke English well, making communication very smooth. It was truly a pleasant experience! 😊 🍴 La Vecchia Conca 📍 Via Carlo Alberto 26, 00185 Rome #ItalianCuisine #ItalyTravel #Rome #RomeRestaurant
