✨Lake Tahoe Camping + Paddleboarding + Swimming + Teppanyaki

This summer, we escaped the city and headed to Lake Tahoe—a stunning gem on the California-Nevada border—for a three-day, two-night camping adventure! 🌲🌊🔥 📍 Campsite Recommendation: We stayed at DL Bliss State Park, right by the lake. The campsite was clean, had restrooms, and even provided bear boxes for food storage. 📌 Tip: Book at least a month in advance on ReserveCalifornia — popular spots sell out fast! 🏄‍♀️ Paddleboarding Experience: The lake was incredibly calm in the morning—like a mirror! We brought our own paddleboards (you can also rent them in South Lake Tahoe). Gliding across the transparent water, where you can see straight to the bottom, was pure therapy 💙🛶 🛶 Rental Suggestions: Tahoe City Kayak / SUP Tahoe 💰 Prices: $25–35/hour | ~$90 for a full day 🏊‍♀️ Swimming Tips: Water temps in late June to early July hover around 65–70°F (18–21°C). Refreshing—not warm—but perfect for a sunny afternoon dip! 👙 Wear sunscreen, a UV swimsuit, and water shoes (the rocks can be tricky). ⚠️ Note: Some areas have sudden drop-offs. Check weather and wind conditions before jumping in! 🍱 Campfire Teppanyaki Dinner: We brought a portable grill and made lakeside teppanyaki! 🥩 Beef belly, 🦐 jumbo shrimp, 🫑 bell peppers, and even warmed bread from Porto’s Bakery—so delicious you won’t believe you’re camping 😋 🧊 Pro tip: Pre-prep ingredients and bring a good cooler! 🌌 Nights Under the Stars: The night sky here is unreal—the Milky Way was clearly visible! We ended our days roasting marshmallows over the campfire, sharing stories, and truly unwinding 🔭🍡💬 🎒 Packing List: Tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag Paddleboard & life vest Sunscreen, sunglasses, water shoes, swimwear Portable grill, gas stove, cooler Lantern, bear-proof food container, trash bags Camera—don’t forget to capture the views! 📸 Perfect for couples, friends, or solo travelers looking to recharge in nature 🏕️❤️ #LakeTahoe #CampingLife #PaddleTahoe #OutdoorCooking #Stargazing #NatureEscape #TravelDiaries #SummerAdventure 🌟🛶🏞️
