Lincoln Park Zoo: Chicago's Most Generous Free Attraction‼️
I still can't believe this zoo is free! It's just too good to be true! I visit several times a year. The three lion cubs have grown into young lions now. The 7-month-old is still adorable, while the 1.5-year-old is in that awkward phase, with a bit of fur on its head and a tendency to bully its younger sibling. Pro tip: Visit in the morning when they're most active and the little lion loves to jump on its parents. 🦁 There are two adorable seals 🦭 and a seal show worth watching. Don't miss the polar bear 🐻❄️, who loves to swim in the pool, munch on carrots, and cuddle with ice blocks. The penguins next door are also super cute! 🐧 There are two snow leopards 🐆 and a lively, beautiful red panda. In the Africa section, you can see giraffes 🦒, zebras 🦓, meerkats stretching their necks and running around, porcupines, hyenas, and enormous rhinos. A flock of flamingos on either side of the bridge is stunning, along with owls 🦉 and vultures. There are also hippos, crocodiles, black bears, several gorillas, and a troop of red-faced, red-bottomed monkeys. Another day of envying Lincoln Park residents! #RomanticLifeRecorder #HiddenTravelDestinations #ChicagoLife #ChicagoFun #ChicagoTravel
