Madison | Paddling to the Capitol 🛶🌊

Guess who’s back?! 😄 Been MIA preparing for my PhD Prelim these past few weeks — but I’m back now with a whole stash of photos from Madtown. Gonna share them slowly but surely! 📸 Around graduation season, a bunch of us hit Lake Mendota for a kayaking adventure 🚣‍♂️🌞. There were 10 of us — we rented 5 kayaks and made our way from Memorial Union to Picnic Point and back. The whole trip took about 1.5 hours ⏳. (Shameless plug: I’ve posted about boat rentals here before — check my previous note if you need tips! 😉) On our way back, I snapped this dreamy shot of the Capitol from our wobbly kayak 🏛️✨. Also caught a plane tracing the sky ☁️✈️, some shots from the dock, and me with my roommate grinning on the water 🥰🛶. Such a classic Madison experience — blue water, good friends, and that iconic skyline.
