Madison | Paddling to the Capitol πΆπ
Guess whoβs back?! π Been MIA preparing for my PhD Prelim these past few weeks β but Iβm back now with a whole stash of photos from Madtown. Gonna share them slowly but surely! πΈ Around graduation season, a bunch of us hit Lake Mendota for a kayaking adventure π£ββοΈπ. There were 10 of us β we rented 5 kayaks and made our way from Memorial Union to Picnic Point and back. The whole trip took about 1.5 hours β³. (Shameless plug: Iβve posted about boat rentals here before β check my previous note if you need tips! π) On our way back, I snapped this dreamy shot of the Capitol from our wobbly kayak ποΈβ¨. Also caught a plane tracing the sky βοΈβοΈ, some shots from the dock, and me with my roommate grinning on the water π₯°πΆ. Such a classic Madison experience β blue water, good friends, and that iconic skyline.
