Madison Food Review: LongHorn Steakhouse š„©āØ
If youāre around West Towne Mall and craving a solid steak dinner, LongHorn Steakhouse is definitely worth a visit! Hereās the full scoop: š Location: West Towne Mall area ā easy to find, plenty of parking. šµ Price: Around $40-50 per person. Not the cheapest, but the quality makes it worth it! š½ What We Ordered: š„ 9oz Filet Mignon This was the star of the show! š The filet was incredibly tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly to medium-rare. The quality of the meat really stood outāmuch better than their signature 22oz LongHorn steak (which is good, but doesnāt beat the filet!). š„ Seasoned Chicken Wings Unexpectedly delicious! Crispy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. A great starter to share! š The āNo One Can Replace Texas Roadhouse Rollsā Disclaimer Okay, letās be realāTexas Roadhouseās warm cinnamon butter rolls are iconic. LongHorn doesnāt have those⦠so if youāre a bread fiend, you might still dream about Texas Roadhouse. But steak-wise? LongHorn takes the win. š š Overall Thoughts: Steak quality: Excellent ā especially the filet! Atmosphere: Cozy, Western-themed, great for dates or family dinners. Service: Friendly and attentive. Best for: When you want a better cut of steak than chain spots usually offer. āļø Rating: 4/5 While LongHorn doesnāt have legendary free bread, their steaks are a definite step up. Iād come back for special occasions or whenever Iām willing to splurge a little! š Final Note: If youāve been to both LongHorn and Texas Roadhouseāwhich one do you prefer?
