Madison Foodie Recap 🍽️✨
Missing Madison so much! Here’s a throwback to some memorable spots (based on fuzzy but delicious memories 😋): • Kettle Black Kitchen Loved the vibe, food, and decor! Highlights: Pork shank (sweet and tender!), steak, and shrimp appetizer. Heard they’ve changed their menu—hope it’s still good! 🤞 • D’Vino Just okay for me, but my friend adored it. Chicken was decent but portions were small (🕊️-sized appetites only!). Main memory: Getting turned away on Christmas Eve without a reservation 😢. • The Harvey House Great service, perfect for dates! They have a train car dining experience (Sheldon Cooper would’ve loved this! 🚆). Loved: Sizzling shrimp, sardines > chicken liver, salmon/steak. Skip: Green lasagna (we were warned—it was indeed weird 🟢). • Bar Corallini Gorgeous interior! Only liked the Antipasti Board—everything else was a miss 😅. • Lallande Personal favorite! Sat at the kitchen bar for that immersive vibe. Loved: Cheese plate, steak, skip the charred carrots (unless you’re a carrot person!). Snails were okay (a bit too earthy for me). Owner chatted with us and gifted cookies from Bloom Bake Shop (sister bakery!) 🍪❤️. • Sardine No words needed. Everything slapped: Chicken livers, charcuterie, seared salmon, pork chop 🏆. #Madison #FoodieRecap #UWMadison #RestaurantHopping 🥂🍷
