Madison Weekend Getaway This Fall
This weekend, my local American friend took me to Mirror Lake State Park โ and wow, the fall colors were absolutely stunning! ๐๐ Even more vibrant than Devilโs Lake right now (and thatโs saying something!). The reflections of the golden and crimson trees on the calm water truly make this place live up to its name. We also stopped by the Wisconsin Deer Park ๐ฆ on the way โ totally worth the visit! For $18 per person, you get to walk among friendly, free-roaming deer and even feed them ($6 for a bag of food). Theyโre so gentle and cute โ perfect photo opp! ๐ธ Although itโs a bit of a drive from Madison (about an hour), the trip is 100% worth it. Thereโs also a famous bar tucked in the hills nearby โ but word of advice: make a reservation in advance! We didnโt, and missed out ๐ข๐ทโฆ Lesson learned! Whether you're into hiking, leaf-peeping, or just a relaxed day around animals and nature, this little trip has it all. Strongly recommend going before the leaves fall! ๐ฅพ๐ ๐ Mirror Lake State Park โ S Lake Shore Dr, Baraboo, WI ๐ Wisconsin Deer Park โ 583 Wisconsin Dells Pkwy, Wisconsin Dells, WI Perfect for: Fall color photographers ๐ Nature & animal lovers ๐ฆ Quick weekend escapes from Madison or Milwaukee ๐๐จ Go soon โ peak foliage wonโt last forever! #UWMadison #Wisconsin #FallColors #StateParks #StudyInUSA #WeekendVibes #DeerPark #AutumnInWI #MidwestAdventure
