I rarely visit chain restaurants, especially ones spread across multiple U.S. cities (like Nobu or Roka). But Maple & Ash is an exception — consistently high quality and great flavors. Many of my friends choose it for celebrations, thanks to the custom-printed menu (slide 2). 🎁 Complimentary caviar and bread service — rivals paid appetizers elsewhere. They also gifted a light martini to kick off the celebration. 🍖 Bone marrow to pair with the steak (slide 5). Rated top 10 steakhouse in Chicago by Infatuation, so you can order any cut with confidence. 🧀 My eternal favorite: ricotta agnolotti — sweet, creamy cheese-filled pasta bites. Impossible to stop at one. 🐟 Pan-seared turbot — good but not quite Porto level. Next time, I’ll stick to their meats. 💡 Extra tips 🫶🏻: ▪️ For a custom statement on the menu, contact the restaurant in advance. ▪️ Can’t decide? Choose the “I Don’t Give a F*%k” option — a $200 pp tasting menu curated by the kitchen. Tell your server your must-have dish, and they’ll work it in. ▪️ Great for people-watching, but maybe not ideal for a first date.
