Mason’s Lobster Roll – A Hidden Gem in Charleston! 🦞
While strolling through Charleston’s historic district last weekend, we stumbled upon Mason’s Lobster Roll – a cozy little spot that totally won us over! 🦞 Lobster Rolls We tried two styles: Classic Maine Style – Chilled lobster meat, lightly dressed in mayo, piled into a buttery toasted roll. So fresh – you can tell it’s never frozen! Connecticut Style – Warm lobster tossed in drawn butter, served in that same irresistible toasted roll. Even heated, the lobster stayed tender and sweet – no fishy taste at all. 🍞 The rolls themselves are toasted in butter – crispy outside, soft inside, and full of flavor. 💰 Price & Value At $25 per roll, it’s not cheap – but compared to Boston’s $30+ rolls (we’re looking at you, Luke’s!) or the $45–55 rolls at Legal Seafood, Mason’s offers great quality for the price. 🏙️ Vibe & Location A clean, bright, and welcoming shop – perfect for a quick and satisfying bite while exploring downtown. The owner takes real pride in their work, and it shows! ⭐ Overall Rating: 8/10 Fresh lobster, buttery rolls, and a lovely stop during a historic district walk. Definitely a Charleston treasure! #MasonsLobsterRoll #CharlestonEats #LobsterRoll #HistoricDistrict #FreshSeafood #FoodieFind #HiddenGem #ButteryGoodness #TravelBites
