Saw photos of these gorgeous drinks from a newly opened matcha shop and rushed over to check it out. The line was super long — and full of non-Asian customers too. How does everyone find out so fast?! ⏰ Waiting Experience: Hand rolls come out quick, but drinks took a while — waited almost an hour. Better to go during off-peak times. 1️⃣ Matcha Drinks They have all kinds of creative matcha drinks: strawberry 🍓, mango sticky rice 🥭, coconut 🥥, black sesame, you name it. Popular flavors sell out fast — I originally wanted Mango Sticky Rice Matcha Latte, but it was gone, so I got the Mango Matcha Latte instead — still amazing! 2️⃣ Mango Matcha Latte 🥭 My pick — highly recommend! The mango jam at the bottom tastes fresh, not artificial — sweet and pairs perfectly with slightly bitter matcha. Absolutely top-tier! Could rival matcha drinks from Japan or China. 3️⃣ Coconut Matcha Latte 🥥 My partner got this — also delicious! Coconut is whipped into a creamy foam with a mousse-like texture — strong coconut aroma but not heavy. Also a win! 4️⃣ Hand Rolls 🍙 Wanted to try them all, but hot sellers like crab meat and kimchi bulgogi were sold out. We got these four: 🌟 Salmon Avocado – Classic and tasty 😋 Recommend! 🌟 Uni – Sea urchin lovers, order without thinking! 🌟 Spam – Simple but good, nothing surprising. 🌟 Shrimp Tempura – Safe choice, not bad but not memorable. Comes with soy sauce for dipping. I really enjoy hand rolls, so overall pretty happy — will definitely order again 👍 💬 Overall: Everything is delicious!!! But the wait is just too long right now 😭 Will try again on a weekday when it’s quieter.
