❤️ I discovered Monterey's most beautiful ocean-view restaurant: Fish Hopper! The restaurant is located on a deck right by the sea, with outdoor seats practically sitting on the water—offering a panoramic view of the vast ocean～ We arrived a bit late, and it was already dark. We could only catch glimpses of the waves 🌊 by the light of the shore, but dining while listening to the sound of the waves was still incredibly enjoyable～ 🌟 It’s highly recommended to come during the day, though! The views will definitely be more stunning, and it’ll be perfect for photos 📸～ 🍜 We ordered 5 dishes in total: bacon-wrapped scallops, clam chowder, seafood pasta, fish and chips, and a beef hamburger. 🌟 Bacon-wrapped scallops A super recommended appetizer! Plump, whole scallops are wrapped in crispy bacon—each scallop is huge, fresh, and delicious. The combination of scallop sweetness and bacon saltiness is chef’s kiss 👍. They’re served with spinach and beans on the side, which are light and refreshing, cutting through the richness. 🌟 Clam chowder Their clam chowder is also a must-try! I’d had so much clam chowder elsewhere that I just ordered a small bowl this time, but it was surprisingly amazing. Rich, creamy, and silky smooth in texture—next time, I’m definitely getting the one served in a sourdough bread bowl! 🌟 Seafood pasta Creamy seafood pasta loaded with shrimp and tiny scallops. The server even grated fresh cheese over it—tasty, but not particularly mind-blowing. 🌟 Fish and chips We chose fish that was freshly caught that day, so it was extra flavorful—way better than frozen fish, for sure! The fries were crispy and golden, served with a side salad. Definitely worth a try. 🌟 Beef hamburger They have a special kids’ menu, and my oldest ordered a beef hamburger. It was huge in portion! I didn’t taste it, but my kid loved it—he finished the whole thing by himself 🍔. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. The views are unbeatable, and the food is delicious—though it’s a bit pricey.
