Montreal 🐮|Burlington, VT Day
Montreal 🐮|Burlington, VT Day Trip 🇺🇸 The weather’s getting warmer and warmer ☀️, so we decided to head to Burlington, VT! It’s only a little over an hour from where we are, and if you go on a weekday, there’s basically no wait at customs~ We mainly planned to hit Church Street Market, but first we passed the University of Vermont—it totally feels like a college straight out of an American drama 🎬! This Market is just a street full of little shops—food, drinks, and lots to browse 🛍️. First stop: Burlington Bagel Bakery. Grabbed a hot maple latte 🍁 and a cinnamon raisin with butter bagel. They have so many bagel flavors, it’s hard to choose! After wandering through tons of shops, I noticed 🐮 cows are everywhere! Asked a local, and they said Vermont’s mostly farms, so there are lots of dairy farms and tons of dairy products. Makes sense! Found a cute little shop with souvenirs and crafts, and in the back—an entire wall of Jellycats! So many I’d never seen before, especially the coffee bean and little mushroom ones—adorable 🧸! You can’t go to Burlington without stopping by Ben & Jerry’s—it started here! But it was still a bit chilly, so no ice cream this time. Next time for sure 🍦! Checked out Trader Joe’s (heard so much about it on Instagram). 90% of the stuff is their own brand, with a few outside brands. Tried ginger shots… yep, super strong ginger flavor—just like I imagined 🌶️! Around 5 PM, we swung by Costco to see the difference between US and Canada locations. Not much, except more food options. Crazy that both 🇺🇸 and 🇨🇦 charge $1.50 for hot dogs 🌭! Drove back as the sun set 🌇—perfect end to the day. .s. Parking there is so cheap—such a nice surprise 🚗! #WantToRecordThisMoment#ThisTemplateIsCool#DayTrip#Sightseeing#Shopping#travel#Montreal#MontrealLife
