🚤My Experience on Jeju’s Submarine Tour 🚤
🚢This submarine dives down to 40 meters below sea level—but honestly, the underwater scenery was just “so-so.” Even at the deepest point, we only saw tiny little fish. When I took the tour, most passengers were Korean, and all the commentary was in Korean. I couldn’t understand a word, so I had to guess what was being said from the Koreans’ body language around me. Overall, the experience was just average—we barely saw any coral, only what’s shown in If your goal is to see a vibrant underwater world—colorful coral, diverse fish, etc.—I’d say skip this. You’ll see way less than you would snorkeling/diving in Weizhou Island (Beihai) or even visiting an aquarium.🚤 🪨But if you just want to try riding a submarine for the novelty? Go for it! After all, this feels like one of the safest submarine experiences out there. From what I searched, it seems only Jeju and Egypt have such tourist submarines (maybe the algorithm recommended these two places because I’ve been to both?). Either way, there’s nothing like this in China—so if you want to check “ride a submarine” off your bucket list for the fresh experience, it’s worth a shot! A few other notes: 😪Transportation is inconvenient: We had to take a private car to get there. Short duration: The actual time underwater felt like only about 30 minutes—so the cost-performance is pretty low. Weather matters: The seawater visibility depends a lot on the weather; if it’s cloudy or rainy, the view will be even less impressive. #SubmarineTour #JejuIsland #JejuTravel #Seogwipo #What’sUnderTheSea
