🌲 My Favorite Spot in Lake Tahoe… But I Might Not Be Back 😅

Every time I visit Tahoe, I make sure to spend some time at this little hidden gem—the aptly named Secret Cove. After a winding hike down from the highway, you’re rewarded with a breathtaking view of unbelievably clear blue water that just mesmerizes you. 💙 But honestly… it’s not so “secret” anymore 😂. More and more people are discovering this magical spot – and I get it, it’s special! The main thing is… the trail is pretty challenging with a little kid 👶. Some sections are steep, and my toddler decided halfway that walking was no longer an option 😮‍💨. This year, we even made the questionable decision to bring a stroller 🛞💦… pushing it up and down those slopes with a kiddo inside. Let’s just say other hikers called us “brave”… or maybe “crazy” 😂. If your kid is at that stage where they’re too heavy to carry but don’t want to walk… maybe choose an easier trail 😅.
