My Last Night in Chicago, I Had an Amazing Italian Meal šāØ
šAlla Vita | West Loop Iāve passed by this restaurant so many times but never went in. On my final night in town, I finally didāand wow, just wow! 𤩠I went in with low expectations because of mixed reviews online, but I ended up being completely surprised (in the best way possible!). I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to Italian food. This year, Iāve tried popular spots like Volare (super hyped on social media), Nonnina (recommended by friends), and even chains like RPM Italian. They were okay⦠but nothing special. This place? This one hit different. š I dined alone, so I ordered just two dishesābut both were fantastic: ⢠Dumplings: These werenāt your average dumplings! š„ They're wrapped in a delicate pasta and filled with rich, creamy cheese. The combination of carbs and creamy goodness was pure comfort. So flavorful and aromaticādefinitely not bland. Yes, it got a liiittle rich after a few bites, but the happiness factor was through the roof! šš§ ā¢ Burrata: The burrata itself was good, but what made it special was the pairing with sweet and tangy cherriesāa refreshing and unexpected twist! š It came with warm bread that was absolutely perfect: crispy outside, soft inside, and so easy to enjoy. š„š The ambiance was bright and elegant, with the main photo spot being the stunning ceiling installation. šøšø The vibe was relaxedānot too loud, not too formalājust right for a good conversation (which is honestly rare in Chicago restaurants!). Service was also friendly and attentive. Really hoping this wasnāt a one-time wonder and that they keep up the great work! š¤ Have you been to Alla Vita? What did you think?
