My Last Night in Chicago, I Had an Amazing Italian Meal š
š Alla Vita | West Loop After living in Chicago for a year, Iād passed by this spot many times but never went in. On my last night in the city, I finally tried it. Given the mixed reviews Iād seen online, my expectations were lowābut I was pleasantly surprised. I consider myself picky about Italian food. This year Iāve tried hyped places like Volare, Nonnina, and chains like RPM Italianāthey were okay, but this one stood out. Since I was dining solo, I only ordered two dishes:šš š“ Dumplings ā Wrapped in a thin layer of dough and filled with cheese, a perfect carbs + fat combo. Rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying (though a few bites in, it gets a bit rich). š“ Burrata ā The cheese itself wasnāt exceptional, but paired with sweet-tart cherries, it worked beautifully.šš Served with warm, crusty bread that was soft insideāso easy to enjoy. The decor is bright and elegant, with eye-catching ceiling installationsāgreat for photos. The vibe is relaxed but not too loudāactually easy to have a conversation (rare in Chicago!). Service was warm and attentive. Iāll definitely be back when I return to Chicago next monthāhoping itās consistently good and not just a one-time wonder. #ItalianFood #Foodie #VibeDining #ChicagoFood #WestLoop #FultonMarket #Chicago
