My Top Korean Restaurants in Chicago โ€“ Highly Recommended! ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ทโค๏ธ

Iโ€™m a huge Korean food lover and have tried a lot of spots โ€” here are my absolute favorites: ๐Ÿ”ฅ Woo Chun My #1 Korean BBQ in Chicago โ€” charcoal grilled for that authentic smoky flavor! Previously, I loved Gogi (sadly closed after COVID), and Woo Chun fills that void perfectly. Generous, fresh banchan (side dishes) and excellent meat quality. Tip: They donโ€™t take reservations, so go early! ๐Ÿป New Village Gastropub & Karaoke A go-to Korean pub with friends โ€” open from 5 PM until late. Famous for spicy chicken feet (though I donโ€™t eat them), but everything else is amazing. Must-orders: rice balls (we always get two!), spicy beef intestines, spicy gizzard. Their chicken popcorn is super crispy (my kid loves it, but itโ€™s a bit hard for my taste ๐Ÿ˜…). Always packed with locals and Koreans โ€” plus, lots of Korean oppas ๐Ÿ‘€๐ŸŽค. ๐Ÿฅฉ Chungkiwa Top 3 Korean BBQ for me โ€” electric grill, but the meat quality is still outstanding. Must-order: Joo Mul Luk (melts in your mouth โ€” we get 3 plates every time!). Also love their seafood & vegetable pancake โ€” super crispy and delicious. โœ… Reservations accepted. ๐Ÿฎ Hwang Sah Grill Used to be my favorite grilled beef intestine spot, though I donโ€™t go as often now. They used to cut the intestines into smaller pieces (I love them crispy and caramelized), but recently they serve them whole. Their beef brisket with house sauce is still great, and ending with kimchi fried rice is a must. Hope they bring back the old-style intestine prep! #KoreanBBQ #ChicagoEats #KoreanFoodChicago #ChicagoFoodFinds #MustTry #CharcoalGrill
