National Gallery of Canada ๐ŸŽจ

๐Ÿ“šIt's probably the best place to explore in Ottawa:๐ŸŒฟ Inside the gallery, you can gaze out at Parliament Hill and the Ottawa River; ๐ŸŒ† In the afternoon, the sun from the west streams into the glass atrium, warm and pleasing to the eye; ๐ŸŒž ๐ŸฐThe gallery also houses some amazing pieces, including works by Monet, Van Gogh, Henry Moore, Mondrian, and Calder. ๐ŸŽจ The museum features a small greenhouse and water feature, which feel incredibly precious amidst the icy winter landscape. The visitors themselves are quite a sight to behold! ๐ŸŒฟ The exhibits are arranged in chronological order from the Middle Ages to modern times. There aren't too many pieces, but you can easily feel the evolution of art history! ๐Ÿ“š ๐ŸŒžThe art shop is great, and there's a beautiful sculpture of a galloping horse outside the cafรฉ window. โ˜•๏ธ Ottawa has another art gallery, which seems to have fewer collections. It's located opposite the Westin Hotel, by the Rideau Canal. It's not the same as this National Gallery. ๐Ÿฐ ๐Ÿ“š#ExploreMuseums #ArtGallery #OttawaTravel๐ŸŒž
