National Gallery of Canada 🎨
📚It's probably the best place to explore in Ottawa:🌿 Inside the gallery, you can gaze out at Parliament Hill and the Ottawa River; 🌆 In the afternoon, the sun from the west streams into the glass atrium, warm and pleasing to the eye; 🌞 🏰The gallery also houses some amazing pieces, including works by Monet, Van Gogh, Henry Moore, Mondrian, and Calder. 🎨 The museum features a small greenhouse and water feature, which feel incredibly precious amidst the icy winter landscape. The visitors themselves are quite a sight to behold! 🌿 The exhibits are arranged in chronological order from the Middle Ages to modern times. There aren't too many pieces, but you can easily feel the evolution of art history! 📚 🌞The art shop is great, and there's a beautiful sculpture of a galloping horse outside the café window. ☕️ Ottawa has another art gallery, which seems to have fewer collections. It's located opposite the Westin Hotel, by the Rideau Canal. It's not the same as this National Gallery. 🏰 📚#ExploreMuseums #ArtGallery #OttawaTravel🌞
