🇵🇷 History: Parque de las Palomas was originally a rampart (A defensive walled area) it lt sits on top of a section of the city wall that once surrounded all of Viejo San Juan. It was constructed during the 18th century. It’s now named for all of the pigeons it attracts.
Bronze shoes can be seen in the park. They were installed by the 2nd female mayor of San Jaun, Sila Maria Calderon, to honor the first female mayor of San Juan, Felisa Rincon de Gautier, and former governor of Puerto Rico, Rafael Hernandez Colon.

For just 350 pesos, you get an incredible massage from a couple of talented guys who truly know what they are doing. It was the perfect way to unwind and made my experience at the park even more memorable. If you're in Cancún, Parque de las Palomas is a...
